assignment D-BACKS WIN 20-19(lead quarter final series 1-0)

Wednesday night marked the return and season debut of James Davis, and not a minute too soon. More on that shortly...
The A-team came out on a mission playing strong defence and very patient at the plate. As the innings went on the Diamondbacks dugout went quiet and with that the fans started to clear out of the stands. Even Leeann the wife of starting Pitcher Don Cole could not bare it any longer and quietly snuck away.
late in the game Shortstop Steve "Steveo" Oliveira made a long over the head running catch in centre field. Yes centre field while he was playing shortstop. This proved to be what motivation the Durham Diamondbacks needed.
The remaining fans were cheering and I swear I heard a "Steven" chant from the dugout. the amazing catch stopped multiple runs from coming in and most probably saved the game, allowing for walk off heroics.
bottom of the final inning the Durham Diamondbacks were down by 2 runs with two on base up comes you guessed it Davis, he didn't waste time crushing a ball to left field over the fence to finish the comeback and win the first game of the series.
