The Visiting Diamondbacks took to the sticks at 7pm sharp for the first game of the Wednesday night double header, much like they did one year ago against The Admirals.
The Durham diamondbacks took a couple innings to warm up but once they did there was no looking back.
While The Renegades and The Durham Diamondbacks split the season series 4 a piece, The Diamondbacks were still the huge betting favourite to finally becoming the 2021 CSP champions. Sports interaction payout was 4-1.
With one in the books, just one more to go for a clean sweep and the D-backs would take home the trophy that eluded them for the last four seasons when they last won against Get "R" Dun in 2017
In the back of the minds of every D-backs fan still had to be if they would be able to resign Jessey Thompson and Brandon Dobrowolski. Both players were signed to 1 year entry contracts, now looking to cash in on the success they had this season.
It is rumoured that Dobrowolski was seen throwing a contract away and is awaiting other teams offers.....
