assignment D-BACKS Continue Hot Streak

In this mid week doubleheader The Durham Diamondbacks would face The A-TEAM, who have won "C" division two years in a row.
Both teams got off to a fast start and it was clear this was going to be a high scoring affair. It wouldn't take long for Chris Crossley to hit his first home run of the season, and with that the D-backs would take an early 6-5 lead.
In the bottom half of the third The Diamondbacks really turned it on sending all 11 batters to the plate and scoring the maximum 7 runs with Jessey Thompson and Chris Crossley hitting bombs
. Chris's second of the game and would be last at bat (more on that In a minute).The A-TEAM would continue to try and keep it a close game but in the end the hot hitting D-backs were a little to strong on this night. Chris would attempt to bat two more times but each time being intentionally walked, was fine for the D-backs team because his last two home runs were clearly wind assisted.
The Durham Diamondbacks win their third straight to open the 2021 season, unfortunately Mr Crouse did not get his whisky even though he DID run out his hits.
