In the second game of the double header The Diamondbacks would hold their own a little better. Keeping a lead throughout the game the Dbacks knew they would need to put up some big numbers if they wanted to stop an Admirals come from behind victory.

As each inning went by the Dbacks would hold on to the lead but never able to run away with it. Sure enough in the Bottom of the 7th with the Admirals down by just one run, up came the Admirals "speed" Duran .... who earlier in the night lunched a missile to center field. with Duran and Graham both on and no outs, Mitch Dunn (possible brother of Sean Dunn?) walked slowly to the plate. Mitch was able to put one in the gap and win the game in walk off fashion.

"I like to keep the umpires on their toes by yelling HE LEFT EARLY sometimes it even works" said Mitch after the game.

on another note, after a bad call from the umpire at 1st #16 Jomo Hanley was left in a tight spot, but in the end his great sportsmanship made him have the umpire over turn the call.
Jomo was heard saying " I don't want to win like that"


The Durham Diamondbacks have had some bad luck with questionably umpiring, Unfortunately they let it get under their skin. Hopefully it is put behind them in next weeks double header.
