The Durham Diamondbacks could not out hit a hot team in the last game of the regular season, losing eight of their last nine games.
Unfortunately third base Stu Johnson forgot what sport he was playing and made an outstanding kick save but injuring himself on the play.
With the loss, this would insure that they would play an even tougher team (Dead Last)in the first round of the Playoffs.
The Dbacks will have a full squad going into next weeks playoffs, other than outfielder Shawn Boyd who has been sidelined for the remainder of the year.
