assignment DBACKS 18 @ Dirty Mitts 13 W

Monday evening the Durham Diamondbacks were back at it against the hard hitting Dirty Mitts. Just a single game then off to Their local watering hole "A Stones Throw" for some much needed camaraderie and of course Sommersby for Stu.

The Dirty Mitts always seem to put up a good fight, with tons of fire power they are never really out of a game.

First inning started a little slow, Dirty Mitts took a 3-1 lead into the second. The Second Inning that all changed when The Dbacks brought 14 batters to the plate, scored 10 runs and some breathing room 11-3. The Dirty Mitts would keep it close hitting 4 home runs, two of them opo BOMBS
in the next three innings. In the end The Diamondbacks would hang on to the lead and win the game 18-13.

The Durham Diamondbacks are now 10-4 and currently hold forth place in the A division. With three games left in the first half they will definitely finish in the top nine and play the rest of the season against the top teams in the league.A huge Improvement from just a couple years ago.
