I hope all are well and staying safe. Hopefully we may have some ball this summer. It is looking more promising.
 
I am trying to make sure we are ready if and when the time comes. We are told by the Town once restrictions are lifted we could start playing within a week as the diamonds are being maintained and will be ready.
 
If we were to get started in July we could play a shorten league season with all teams playing each other once, then break into playoffs. With 18 teams playing each other once it would be 17 games, taking approx. 8 or
9 weeks, not including rainouts. This will take us into Sep. Playoffs would likely be best 2 of 3 games to be finished by end of Sep.
 
What I need to confirm is that each team is still interested in playing some sort ball as I will need to register each team with NSA for insurance purposes. This is required by the Town. NSA registration is $105 per
team.
We do not want to waste money on registration if a team can not field a team for this season.
 
We realize that with families currently being locked down and some having financial constraints, players may not want to be playing ball this summer, but would rather go on outings with their families.
 
*Team Reps, can I ask that you check with your players so that we can confirm your team for 2020. We need to know by the end of the week (Sun Jun.21) as startup could happen in next couple of weeks.

 
There is a lot to get in place. EG NSA registration, new budget for league fees, balls, and schedule. These all are impacted depending upon the number of teams for 2020.
